What is Cove?

Cove is a web gazetteer — a surveyed directory that charts 832 online destinations across 22 named territories, organised by sector and industry for easy navigation.

Is it free to list my site in Cove?

Yes. Submitting a site to the Cove directory is free of charge. Complete the listing form, select the appropriate territory, and your site will be reviewed for inclusion.

How are sites organised in the directory?

Sites in Cove are organised into 22 territories, each corresponding to a sector or industry — such as the Automotive Register, the Medical & Health Entries section, or the Travel & Touring Survey. Each entry is logged by domain within its territory.

How do I submit my site?

Navigate to the listing form using the Submit a Site link at the top of any page. Choose the territory that best matches your site, enter your domain and a brief description, and submit. The Cove team reviews all submissions before adding entries to the gazetteer.

How long does the review process take?

Most submissions are reviewed within a few days. The Cove team checks that each submitted site is active, relevant to the chosen territory, and suitable for inclusion in the directory.

Can I list a site in more than one territory?

Each site is logged under a single territory in the Cove gazetteer. If your site spans several sectors, choose the territory that best reflects its primary purpose.

Do I need to create an account to submit a site?

No account is required. The listing form can be completed directly without registration.
